The countdown to the biggest football tournament in the world has begun, and we've waited four years! Just to help kickstart the Word Cup soccer festival that is about to take the world by storm, I have compiled a list of 15 interesting facts about this year’s Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup to be hosted by Russia. 1. Russia was given the rights to host the FIFA World Cup for the very first time in its history. This historical moment took place on December 2, 2010. The matches will kick off on June 14, 2018 with the finals taking place on July 15, 2018. 2. This will be Russia’s 11 th  appearance in the World Cup. 3. Russia’s highest ever finish in the FIFA World Cup is the 4 th  position in the 1966 World Cup. 4. This will be the first FIFA World Cup to be hosted in Europe since 2006 and the first time ever a World Cup is hosted in Eastern Europe. 5. Kannada Bigg Boss created a buzz last season for its controversial contestants and of course Sudeep, and Sudeep has confirmed to host Bigg Boss 2 as well.What's new though is the list of expected contestants.





The tentative list of BIGG BOSS contestant includes:
Pooja Gandhi: The actress is currently shooting for the films ABHINETHRI.
 

Priya Hassan : The actress who attained fame after creating a  fuss about film awards, is apparently going to make her comeback with the TV reality show.

Anu Prabhakar : The actress, who made it to the headlines after her divorce with KK, will be seen in Bigg Boss 2.

Guruprasad : The experimental director Guruprasad could be seen in the show.

Naveen Krishna : Dheemaku 2 actor Naveen is likely to be seen in the show.

Rishi Kumar Swamiji: After one swami's run in the last season, looks like it's Rishikumar's turn this time.
Sihi Kahi Chandru: The actor, comedian and chef, who recently took up another cookery show, could be in the house.

Arun Sagar: Will Arun Sagar's luck hold good this season too? Find out.
Nithyananda Swamy:  Nithyananda was embroiled in a controversy in 2010 when a TV channel aired a video of him engaging in a sexual act with a woman.

Shakeela:  Known as Silk Smitha's successor, Shakeela began her career in a Tamil soft porn movie, in which Silk Smitha played the lead role. She went on to act in several B grade films delivering the Malayalam hit Kinnarathumbikal.

Suman Ranganath: Is an model and actress who has starred in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films.

Bhavana: Bhavana is an actress who entered Kannada film industry through Chandramukhi Pranasakhi.

Prema Kumari: The lady who was in lime light through the scam with former minister Ramdas


Jayaram Karthik: The man who shined through CCL and now is a star in small screen through  a serial named Ashwini Nakshathra. Recently his movie Just Love was released which did not make much noise in the Box Office.

Tsunami Kitty: The winner of the reality show Indian & also Thakadimitha Dancing Star.


Harish Raj: He entered film industry through a serial called Dandapindagalu and later was casted as supporting artist in few movies and then became hero.


Shruthi: The former heroine who was married to a director and got divorced after a long marital life.
